How to defeat fear?

Fear is an unpleasant emotion in response to perceiving or recognizing a danger or threat. Fear of the unknown is scarier than things you know. But it is still scary. How do you face fear, when you are consumed by it?  Fear causes physiological changes that may produce behavioral reactions such as mounting to an aggressive response.

Fear is real in your soul. But fear is your friend. Make fear,  your friend.  It will be the breaking point to step out and do the opposite..

Fear is an emotion that is the same as when you are excited or stressed, it is the cortisol level of your brain that is affected. But it’s how you interpret it in your mind.  So the first thing you should do is calm yourself down.

Fear reaction:

  1. Freeze reaction – when you are shocked and don’t know what to do.
  2. Faint reaction – when you hear bad news and you can’t handle the news, you faint.
  3. Flight or fight reaction – either of the two reactions to gain control of your fear, either you fight it or flee from it.

Different types Fear:

  1. Adoptive is an environmental fear that causes your body to feel agitated and not relaxed.
  2. Panic attacks when you are not understanding what is going on and you can’t do anything, you are panicking.
  3. Pain when you are fearful about what’s the outcome or what will happen.
  4. Learn fear, you know the result but you still fear the consequences.
  5. Extinction or anxiety disorder will cause you to think in your mind that it’s the end of the world.

Turn every single fear to your advantage. When you are being moved to another dimension that you are not comfortable with. Knowing what types and kinds of fear will prepare you to face it and fight it.

Here are things that you can depend on when are in fear:

  1. Have Faith. When you are not understanding what is going on, you need to hold on to something or someone that is more stable and that can take you out of fear. Faith in God! You are in partnership with Him,so you can hold on to Him.
  2. Confidence in yourself. The anchor thought, you can place yourself to maintain control of what you are afraid to do.
  3. Think you are in control. Things you can’t control, make your mind control it, even you can’t in reality. Make the unseen to operate in the seen world.
  4. Change your channel. The channel program of your mind when feeling fear is horror, change it to comedy or something that will make you relax. Don’t forget fear is feeling and emotion.

From fearful to fearless is the main key to living in a world that is full of fear.  To be in partnership with God is the best and stable you can hold on too,  you have a friend that you can count on.
