How to be productive every day.

  • By Professor Allen Mallari

Getting ready to face the world today can be easy or a rough one.  The question is are you going to be productive or just go with flow?  At the end of the day, you ask yourself, did you do a good job today or not.  This is the only day that you are guaranteed to live by.  Looking back and comparing what you did today has to be better than yesterday.  But to some people, there are better days than today.  But how to make the best out of today and be productive?  Of course don’t forget your attitude as the product of your belief system. Because whatever you believe in, that’s where you act and attract.  And before getting started to get to your productivity list, you also have to check your attitude towards the weather as it will determine how you will be productive.

How to be productive everyday:

  1. Set up your goal.  Eyeing on the target is the best start to know what will be your accomplishments for the day.
  2. Time management.  Make sure you allow time for everything you do from waking up to going to bed. Don’t allow time to make you but rather make time work for you.
  3. Prioritize. Make a reasonable to-do list. Get a piece of paper and write them all down. Pick a one task based on priority.
  4. Focused and Motivated.  You have to have a mind that is focused and motivated, to get things done.
  5. Stop multitasking. Don’t do things all at once or else you will not accomplish things in time and more effectively.
  6. Figure out your peak hours. When you know your high time when you’re most productive, move the tasks that are important to you. Believe me you will get things quicker.
  7. Take a break. Taking time and appreciate each task accomplished and celebrate even small or big accomplishments.

Today is the only day you can control. Past is done and the future is still to be determined and not for sure. You decide for yourself to be productive or not.
