How to prioritize?
There are so many things to do in so little time. With the little time you have, you need to make that time work for you. With a busy schedule, you don’t know how to organize and prioritize. Some will say prioritize according to its urgency or some according to importance or both. What does it really mean to prioritize?
In the dictionary we will find priority means the fact or condition of being regarded or treated as more important. We now know that prioritizing is more important than anything else. To prioritize is to be successful in everything that you do. You will have a winning attitude and deliver it well. So let’s find out how to prioritize.
How to prioritize:
- Make a list of all tasks at hand. By listing them all down you are uncluttering your mind and putting it on paper.
- Label or mark each one according to each importance from 1 to 10.
- Rearrange everything according from the highest to lowest. Which is MIT or the most important thing? Make sure you are not second guessing, which one is the most important.
- Focus on the most high priority. Now that you have rearranged the list, now is the time to pay close attention to the first on the list.
- Be productive. Now let’s get to work and be productive and not allow any other interruptions.
Make sure you prioritize it based on the bigger goal. Small tasks are good but it has to be connected to your bigger plan. The more passionate you are in completing the task at hand, the more things you can accomplish. By allowing yourself to prioritize is to let your day go smoothly and healthy. And make sure when you do this, it is according to your goal and satisfaction. This will give you a sense of completion to be excited on the next day.
