Let go and let the new one in.
There are things that are hard to let go. The past, habits, relationships or something that you have been doing for a long time. How do you see yourself without it, moving forward? We need to learn how to let go of the old to let the new come. There is always something new, when one door closes another door opens. Sometimes it takes time, but you have to make a choice, either let it go or not.
How to let go:
- Get closure. It’s time to open a new chapter, but you have to get closure and accept it.
- Don’t allow emotions in your decision. By mental decisions you can’t allow feelings of attachment.
- Focusing on what is important ahead of you. By mentally focusing on the change and looking ahead to important parts of your life.
- Accept the fact. Recognize when it’s time. Well the fact of the matter is, do you really need it in the next chapter of your life?
- Surround yourself with people that care for you. You need to be surrounded with good people that will uplift you and cheer you on.
- Don’t allow the past to predict the future.
- Take control of your decision. Own up to your decision and stick to it.
- Don’t rehearse the hurt. It’s true that it hurts to let go, but once you already let it go, do not rehearse the hurt.
- Be thankful and grateful. Be grateful for the time you had it. You have gained experience after all.
- Commit to let go! The most important of it all is to commit to it! Put your best foot forward and commit to it!
Letting go is allowing yourself to grow and move into a new realm of mind set. And always make a conscious decision to be planted in your subconscious mind. Once it’s in your heart, then there is no rhyme or reason for you to go back!
