How to be successful: Stay in your lane

  • By Professor Allen Mallari
  • In Business, Encouragement, Inspiration, Motivation, Success

How to be successful? Well, stay in your lane.  Staying in your lane is looking in the direction where you don’t see anyone else but you and your own path to take. You only see the straight line that is created for you to step into. Not minding somebody’s business but your’s. Focus on fixing you and molding you, not others. When you know how to manage yourself, you will become successful in everything you do, and you can teach others what you have gone through. You can’t share what you don’t have. To be successful, you have to always remember to stay in your lane.

Look at horses, they have blinders to keep them from focusing and not looking at other things,  their eyes are in just one direction. Horses are easily distracted. That is why they have blinders. Especially when they are in the tracks, they need to focus. Even when something is moving around them, they are restricted to the one that is in front of them.

Staying in your lane in:

  1. Relationship – you need to focus on fixing you, not others around you. Because there is too much to fix in yourself first. Fixing yourself is the main key to success in life.
  2. Wealth -increase what you have by your talents and abilities. Never be a hand out, don’t  beg.
  3. Health – by focusing on your healing rather than feeling sorry for yourself and comparing yourself to others. Your mind has to focus on healing so that the body can follow what the mind dictates.
  4. Work – if you focus your attention on your work, believe me promotion comes naturally. Never look at your coworkers as if they are better than you.
  5. Colleague or friends – when you are around others, never judge anyone as they are also judging you. You should just be yourself and never try to be someone else.

Having to know to stay in your lane, will give you a sense of assurance that if something goes wrong, no one else to blame but you, then learn from it, just stay in your lane.
