How to calm your mind and body!
Being at peace is also being calm. Not being moved easily by anything is a super ability. Overthinking, angry or scared will only make your emotions agitated and move towards losing or failure.When you hate, you have an inferiority complex or not wanting,liking and loving whatever that is going on. If your temper loses it, the mind responds to a higher rate of pulse where you can’t analyze your reaction. Or even when you are at rest, hearing bad news will always give you an uncomfortable feeling. To relax means to calm both the mind and body. Having to have hate in your heart, will lead to wrong action. Being calm is to protect yourself from responding quickly and harming yourself. So the bottom line, relax and calm down.
These are some ways to calm your mind and body:
- Deep breathing. Inhale from your nose, exhale from your diaphragm. Start to inhale and wait for 5 to 10 second then exhale if you can. Do this three times a day.
- Walking makes your mind and stimulates your body in relaxed mode.
- Set your mind to sleep mode. Bringing your mind into meditation and relaxing mode.
- Listen to meditating, relaxing music. This will help you to come to the state of mind of peace.
- Read and learn. Reading and learning makes you more aware of things around you. You get a deep sense of attachment to life.
- Don’t rush. Slow down. No one is chasing you. Don’t let time dictate your actions as time will also tick on whether you do it or not.
- Listen to your heart, not emotions. Your heart will always lead you to make a decision that is the right choice. Listen to the beat of your subconscious mind, not your physical heart. The beat of the physical heart is running to the beat of what you hear physically. Do close your eyes and listen to the inner subconscious mind. It beats calm like a river of water. Not a roaring thunder.
- Open your ear not your mouth. Always have a listening ear to everyone, and be careful to respond.
- Do some stretching. Stretching helps to release the tension of muscles that are tight and tense.
- Drink water or soak yourself in water. It is refreshing and makes your mind refocus, it’s like a newborn baby that is born out of water.
- Smell the aroma of flowers or scent that is soothing. The smell of basilic, thym, eucalyptus or lavender will calm and soothe you down. This will help your mood from the outside to the inside.
- Chew gum while calming down. If you can’t find a place or anywhere you can focus.
- Write everything you are feeling. Then burn it and visualize that you are destroying the fear that is bothering you.
- Pressure points. Look for the pressure points where you can point in that body to press and relax that muscle.
- Focus on positive things. When you learn how to focus on the positive things, you will learn how to be calm.
- Talk with God. The best thing you can do is talk with someone who is ready to listen to you and will give you the wisdom that passeth through all understanding.
Calm = ( rest + meditation + positive thinking ) – ( anger + hate + anxiety + fear + unrest + overwhelmed + stress + overthinking)
Calm = Peace
All this is for your mind and body. Being calm and at peace will bring out the best in you. Will also bring out love and tenderness. You are preventing yourself from being punished by the world, which you created.
